| Length of Hike (r/t): 3.7 miles | Trail Elevation Change: 1,003 ft. |
| Water: None | Trailhead Elevation: 9,000 ft. |
| Tips: This trail does not quite gain 1,000 ft. of elevation, so technically, for it to qualify as one of our "challenges," you need to do a little backtrack. Start at Columbine Information Station on the Ash Creek Trail #307. When you get to the junction with Webb Peak Trail #345 on your right, go 1/4 mile further on #307, which drops you down to 9,000 ft., and then turn around, go back to the junction, and turn right up the Webb Peak Trail #307 for 1.7 miles. Just below the summit, turn right at the trail junction to get to the top. There is a lookout tower at the summit. Trail #307 is a loop trail, so return to the trail junction that was just below the summit and take the right fork, which will return you to the trailhead. | |
